COMYUNO uses SSL/TLS encryption (Secure Sockets Layer / Transport Layer Security) and the latest security standards to protect all data. All incoming and outgoing data from our servers is fully encrypted using 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) algorithm.
Our infrastructure is completly independend from hosts like Amazon, Google or Facebook. COMYUNO is hosted only by independent server companies in germany which fulfil the strict data security standards of DIN ISO/IEC 27001. All data is backed up daily to assure security and ensure that our customers have 24-hour access.
Access to COMYUNO accounts is authenticated using passwords stored in hashed format using bcrypt. Authentication is required to access any internal resources. No sensitive data will ever recorded or tracked and access to the database is only allowed for the managing director of technology, Marc Pribbernow.
